part 2 of a dish I made last night. After an entire day of reading 1 and 2 Samuel, I found myself reaching for ingredients that seemed...Bibley. Soaked a mess of buckwheat groats, then drained and mixed them with some soaked raw lentilsngarbanzos chopped up, chopped zucchini and chopped kalamata olives. Sauteed a pressed garlic clove, chopped white onion wedge, lil red wine, lil salt, lil lemon juice, lil tofu, some olive and walnut oils, and at the end dumped some spices in that my silly mind must've thought were middle eastern (turmeric, paprika (?), cumin, I think)...let the mischung cool a little, poured it into and mixed it in with the fud, then plopped a spoonful of nonfat plain yogurt on for effect. Really, really good! Tonight's installment employs landlord's homegrown kohlrabi as wrap.
